Since I last posted anything on this account, I joined a service group at my school called Operation S.P.L.A.T. Our main objective is to be able to hold a big fundraising event at the Hollywood Sports Park in January 2014 as well as a few minor events leading up to it. Along the way, we hope to inspire other and raise awareness about what we are doing.
The last time I met with these friends to work on this project, we got a chance to interview a veteran from the Iraq war called Michael Schlitz. His vehicle was blown up by a mine, killing all the others in the vehicle with him and leaving him burning alive. Both of his hands had to be amputated and most of his skin replaced. In our interview, he recounts his thoughts as he was burning, his experience with being saved, how he continued to lead before he received treatment for his burns, and much more. He told us his haunting and gruesome story in such a strong yet lighthearted way it was hard not to be totally touched and inspired by it. It was a strong reminder of why we started our fundraiser operation in the first place.
Well, after we got the interview audio recorded and editted, my friend Emily Shimano has been working on putting up a digital story to go with it. Finally, the first part of the interview is up.

Moving to a new account
I'll be found mostly at ~krismaddict (https://www.deviantart.com/krismaddict) for now on, but I'll still be visiting this account pretty frequently to fulfill some of my admin duties for my 2 groups so I'll still get any messages sent to this account. I'll still be putting up personal pictures and poems too.
The reason for the move is mostly because I'm tires of typing in this super long-ass username. XD It's really long and no longer relevant since I'm not much of a panda anymore. Yes, I still have dark circles, but my panda images is finished. My other reason is that I want to have a place where I can gush about my interests, and solely for those interests. to my heart'
Hello, abs. Long time no see.
So far, it's a great start to the new year. XD
Aside from occasional bag of shrimp chips, half of a sweet potato, and a lot of diluted Pepsi, I've managed to change my diet. I'm pretty much not drinking coffee anymore. I've learned the easiest and most efficient way to eat fish. I'm totally apathetic about my scores on Elite practice tests by now, so I'm just relaxing as my Math 2 scores flatline in the mid 600s range. My daily exercise is awkwardly flailing around to Kpop songs, specifically trying to perfect my body wave when dancing to Ma Boy. The only trouble I'm having in terms of fat is with my flabby arms and cheeks.
I guess I
Finally finished reading 48 Hours
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY GOOD FIC WRITERS IN THE EXO FANDOM???!!
...*Ahem*. I actually did not cry while reading it, but I did make the mistake of trying to eat while reading it and losing my appetite. I started it a few days ago but seeing all the hype, watching the trailer, and reading the prologue and the crazy strong start from the first 3-4 chapters, I was so scared and reluctant to continue.
As you can tell, I sucked it up and finished reading all 48 chapters and the extras today. I'd like to point out every paragraph was like a knife to the chest, and if the English translation lost some of the effect and quality the original Chinese
Finally have some 'me' time
Anyone know any good EXO fanfics? I'd love recommendations. I'm Kris-biased so if you know any good fics shipping him with anyone else. But any fics will do.
Literally all the SJ fics I've been following are on indefinite hiatus and Ive already reread my favourite chapters. I couldn't take not having fics to read anymore so I am finally indulging my inner EXO addict. I wanna have an idea of what i should read next after I finish 48 Hours.
So far I've really REALLY liked:
Anterograde Tomorrow
Arbitrage
Mango, Peaches, and Lime
Any genre or rating is fine by me, I read anything from fluff to smut, as long as it is interesting. XD
